Terms of Service
The agreement between you and BidBoy when you use the site.
What BidBoy is
BidBoy is a marketplace that helps customers find and contact independent local businesses. BidBoy is not a party to any job, does not employ the businesses listed, does not perform the work, and does not process payments for jobs. Customers and businesses agree on price, scope, timing and payment directly.
Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 to use BidBoy.
Customers
Using BidBoy is free for customers. Post real jobs you intend to have done. Up to four matched businesses can respond to each request. Choosing a business is your decision; BidBoy does not recommend the lowest price or guarantee any result.
Businesses
Businesses also agree to the Business Terms. BidBoy never sells leads or charges per lead or commission on jobs.
No checks unless stated
BidBoy does not confirm that any business is licensed, insured or background checked unless a specific badge says that check was done. Ask businesses directly and check credentials yourself.
Payments and disputes
BidBoy does not take payment for jobs. Price, payment, warranties and any dispute about the work are between the customer and the business. You can report problems to us and we may take action on accounts, but we cannot refund or enforce payment.
Your content
You keep ownership of descriptions, photos, messages and reviews you post. You give BidBoy permission to store and display them as needed to run the service. Content must follow the Acceptable Use policy.
Suspension
We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put others at risk, or misuse the marketplace. Where possible we will explain why.
Limits of liability
BidBoy is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, BidBoy is not liable for work performed by businesses, losses between users, or indirect damages.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will note the date at the top, and tell you about significant changes.
